Job Title: Inclusive Learning Advisor
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time considered

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Inclusive Learning Advisor to join our specialist land-based college in Cheshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students studying programmes such as agriculture, animal care, horticulture, countryside management, and other land-based courses.
Working as part of the Inclusive Learning and Student Support team, you will play a key role in ensuring students with additional learning needs are able to fully access their courses, develop independence, and succeed in both practical and classroom-based learning environments.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and assess learning support needs for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Provide tailored learning strategies and support plans to enable students to access land-based vocational programmes.
- Work closely with curriculum staff to ensure inclusive teaching practices across practical and classroom settings.
- Support the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where applicable.
- Provide guidance and advice to staff on reasonable adjustments and inclusive learning strategies.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate support records.
- Liaise with external agencies, parents/carers, and internal teams to support student wellbeing and achievement.
- Promote independence, confidence, and employability skills in students.

Essential Requirements- Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs or SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive learning strategies and reasonable adjustments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and support teams.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Experience working within Further Education or a specialist college environment.
- Knowledge of EHCP processes and SEND legislation.
- Interest or experience in land-based education (e.g., agriculture, animal care, horticulture).
- Relevant qualification in education, SEND, or learning support.
