About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and an enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join a dynamic team at a Primary within the Bristol area. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about education and supporting students in their learning journey. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide academic and pastoral support, ensuring all students have the best opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support students with special educational needs (SEN)

* Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.

* Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.

* Work with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning.

* Encourage and promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

* Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

* Supervise students during break times and school activities.

Person Specification:

* A passion for working with children and supporting their development.

* Relevant experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential).

* Experience working with challenging behaviours

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
