We wish to recruit an Academic Mentor to be based at Post 16 Centre, Cotham. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where we support, challenge and encourage students through one-to-one meetings, workshops and advice and guidance to develop key study skills to ensure they become independent life‑long learners ready for their next steps and able to achieve their very best.
With a maths specialism, you will also deliver some support sessions to students studying for their maths GCSE retake (to augment their lessons taught by specialist teachers). In addition, you will be required to oversee and develop our student leadership provision, providing opportunities for students to gain skills and experience outside of the curriculum, contributing to their wider community and social justice ambitions.
Actual salary £28,789. Fixed term contract Cotham School salary £31,537 full time, actual salary £28,789. Grade: G9.

37 hours per week, term time plus 10 days working. This is a fixed term contract until July 2027. Probation period:
