15 hours per week, 9‑12pm, Term time only including INSET Days
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join our highly skilled team. The successful candidate will support learning activities on an individual or small group basis in the Academy, under the direction of the line manager, with a particular focus on developing our phonics and reading provision.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide support for learning activities on an individual or small group basis under the line manager's direction, focusing on phonics and reading across the Academy.
Qualifications and Experience- At least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification, or actively working towards it
- Experience working with children in either a mainstream or special school setting
- Good understanding of child development and knowledge of the curriculum
- Experience in phonics is desirable
- Enhanced DBS check
- Fully supportive references
- Fluency in spoken English (required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016)
