HR Apprenticeship Coach / Trainer – Level 3 & 5

Remote | National Training Provider

Aptitude Recruitment are nationwide recruitment experts specialising in the Skills and Employability sector. We work with leading Training Providers and Colleges to attract the best talent for their teams.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a forward‑thinking national training provider looking to appoint an HR Apprenticeship Coach / Trainer to support learners through their apprenticeship journey.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to coach, mentor and support apprentices through their Apprenticeship Standards, ensuring they progress successfully through their learning journey and achieve their qualifications.

You will work closely with employers, learners, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality training, monitor progress, and support apprentices in developing their knowledge, skills and behaviours.

This role is primarily remote delivery, using digital learning platforms to provide high‑quality training and coaching. On rare occasions, there may be some field‑based visits to employer sites, agreed in advance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support a caseload of apprentices studying HR Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications
  • Deliver training and coaching sessions on both a 1:1 and group basis
  • Set learning objectives, coursework, and regularly review learner progress
  • Support apprentices in developing professional workplace skills
  • Monitor and track learner progression throughout their apprenticeship journey
  • Work closely with employers to support learners within their workplace
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery, Quality & Compliance, Curriculum, and Sales teams
  • Contribute to programme design aligned with employer needs and business objectives
  • Ensure learners have an engaging and high‑quality learning experience
  • Work towards performance targets, learner success rates and programme completion

Essential /

Desirable Experience
  • Relevant management experience
  • HR Level 5 qualification
  • CIPD qualified
  • Assessor qualification (CAVA / TAQA or equivalent)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working within Apprenticeships or work‑based learning
Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • Ability to plan and manage your own workload
  • Confident using digital learning platforms and IT systems
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
  • Self‑motivated and adaptable
  • Ability to motivate, coach and influence learners
