Teacher Active is currently seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher for a long-term role in a secondary school in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for consistency, strong departmental support, and the chance to build meaningful relationships with students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons, helping students explore different beliefs, cultures, and ethical perspectives while encouraging critical thinking and respectful discussion.

The role:

Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Assessing and monitoring student progress

Creating a positive and respectful classroom environment

Working collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team

This role could be ideal if you:

Hold QTS or are an ECT

Have experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level

Are confident delivering engaging and well-structured lessons

Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills

Are passionate about encouraging discussion, reflection, and understanding of different beliefs and values

Are looking for a long-term role within a supportive school environment
