Apprenticeship Team Lead – National Training Provider (South Region)
£40,000 per annum | Permanent | Hybrid Working (Home with regular paid travel)
A leading and expanding national training provider, recognised for delivering high‑quality apprenticeship programmes across the UK, is seeking an Apprenticeship Team Lead to line‑manage their delivery team.
In this key leadership role, you will support a team of experienced Skills Coaches to deliver impactful, compliant and learner‑focused provision.
This role is ideal for a seasoned apprenticeship or FE professional with experience managing teams, driving performance, and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks including the Education Inspection Framework and DfE Apprenticeship Funding Rules.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support a team of Skills Coaches across the South region.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to drive performance.
- Oversee curriculum planning, delivery standards and off‑the‑job training quality.
- Ensure full compliance with funding guidance, audit processes and inspection frameworks.
- Roughly weekly travel to learning centres in Watford, Dagenham and (less often) Bristol.
- Leadership experience in apprenticeship or FE programme delivery.
- Qualified Assessor and Internal Quality Assurer (TAQA, Lead IQA or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of DfE Apprenticeship Funding Rules and Ofsted EIF.
- Proven experience with performance management and developing delivery staff.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, employers, and external stakeholders.
- Teaching or assessing qualification (AET, PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Experience across multiple apprenticeship standards.
- Background in hybrid or national apprenticeship delivery models.
- Prior involvement in audits, inspections or internal quality reviews.
