The Role:

Inspire Innovation and Practical Skills

As a D&T Teacher, you will inspire students agedwith creative and practical skills. Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

* Curriculum Delivery:
Planning and delivering engaging and practical D&T lessons across various material specialisms.

* Long-Term/Full-Time:
Planning and teaching your subject specialism for a full-time or long-term position, covering all key stages up to GCSE/A-Level.

* Safe Environment:
Managing workshops and classrooms to ensure a safe, productive, and creative atmosphere, with a strong focus on health and safety protocols.

* Assessment:
Assessing practical and theoretical work and providing constructive feedback.

What We're Looking For

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

* Experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level (Key Stage 3 and above).

* Strong subject knowledge in at least one D&T specialism (e.g., Resistant Materials, Food, Graphics, or Textiles).

* Strong classroom management and workshop safety skills are essential.

* Flexibility and adaptability for supply roles.
