GSL Education are currently looking for dynamic and enthusiastic ICT Teachers specialising in teaching Secondary students in Selby, North Yorkshire, starting in September 2025. The ability to offer Computer Science and/or Business Studies is highly desirable, but not essential.

ICT Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS with a degree in ICT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Experience teaching ICT at Key Stage 3 level, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes.
• Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum, including key concepts such as digital literacy, coding, online safety, and the ethical use of technology.
• Ability to deliver Computer Science and/or Business Studies is desirable.
• Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply a for a new one through GSL Education.

ICT Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons that meet the needs of all students.
• Develop students' ICT skills, including digital literacy, coding, multimedia production, and data handling.
• (If applicable) Deliver lessons in Computer Science and/or Business Studies as part of the wider department offer.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Integrate various forms of technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences and help students develop a strong understanding of ICT concepts and applications.
