Position: Primary Teacher - Year 4 class. Job in Staffordshire Education & Training Jobs

YEAR 4 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED

Academics are supporting a warm, welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 4 primary Teacher to join their team on a supply basis thorugh Academics for the Summer Term.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a lovely, supportive school environment where staff wellbeing and pupil progress are a genuine priority.

The Role

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 4 class, including:

  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Marking and providing constructive feedback
  • Tracking pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policy
  • Attending staff meetings and liaising with colleagues and parents where required
  • Preparing pupils for end-of-year expectations and supporting a smooth transition
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
