About the School:
Join a thriving, inclusive school in South Bristol dedicated to supporting students aged 4 to 19 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including ASC, PMLD, and SLD. Many learners also present with additional needs such as SLCN and SEMH. The school offers a bespoke curriculum tailored to individual abilities, enhanced by regular input from multidisciplinary therapists to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
The Role SEND Teacher:We are seeking a passionate and adaptable SEND Teacher to lead a mixed Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 class.
Responsibilities:- Delivering personalized learning experiences tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborating closely with a dedicated team of LSAs and a range of professionals including OTs, SALTs, and physiotherapists.
- Promoting inclusion, emotional well-being, and engagement across the school.
- Using creative and flexible approaches to teaching that nurture development in both academic and personal growth.

- £130 - £233.63 per day, depending on experience.

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) NQTs/ECTs are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with SEN, particularly SEMH, PMLD, and/or complex needs.
- A flexible, creative, and empathetic teaching approach.
- Ability to provide two years of recent references.
- A DBS registered on the Update Service or a willingness to apply through ANZUK.
You will need to have already gained valid right to work in the UK to apply.
