TasksAs a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing individual and group support to students with a range of learning needs. You will work closely with teachers to implement educational plans, assist with classroom management, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Specific duties may include: preparing learning materials, providing one-to-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and contributing to the overall well-being of the students.
SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will need proven experience working with students with special educational needs in a UK school setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues. You should be patient, understanding, and possess a genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their full potential. Experience with specific learning difficulties or disabilities would be beneficial.
