This flexible supply teacher role lets you build meaningful classroom experience, make a positive impact and become a trusted face in the school community - without lesson planning or needing a teaching qualification. If maths is your strength and you enjoy supporting students through tasks, this is a great opportunity to grow supply teacher experience. You can work full or part-time and offer cover across maths and wider supply needs.

What is the role?
  • Supervise KS3 and KS4 maths classes as an unqualified Maths Supply Teacher
  • Support pupils with pre‑set maths tasks and numeracy activities
  • Maintain calm, purposeful classroom expectations
  • Encourage focus, effort and positive behaviour
  • Adhere to the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies

As a supply teacher you will focus on managing the room and supporting learning; lesson planning is not part of the role.

  • Short‑term, long‑term and full‑time supply teacher roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
