Quantum Scholars are working with an excellent and highly supportive secondary school in Berkshire who are seeking to appoint an A-Level Economics Teacher for a September 2026 start
. This is a full-time permanent position
.

The successful candidate will primarily teach A-Level Economics
, which forms the main part of the timetable. In addition, the teacher will be expected to teach a second subject of either Mathematics or Business Studies to make up a full teaching timetable.

The school is looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about teaching Economics at A-Level
• Can also teach Maths or Business Studies as a second subject
• Has strong subject knowledge and high expectations for student achievement
• Is committed to contributing to a high-performing academic environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Economics at A-Level
• Ability to teach Maths or Business Studies as a second subject
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
