PPA Teacher | Wednesdays and Thursdays | BS11 Bristol

Are you an experienced and confident Primary Teacher looking for a regular PPA role in a welcoming Bristol school?

We are working with a warm, supportive primary school in the BS11 area that is seeking a PPA Teacher to cover classes across the school every Wednesday and Thursday. The school has an inclusive atmosphere, values its staff highly and is looking for someone who can provide consistency, strong behaviour management and high quality teaching across a range of year groups.

The Role

• PPA cover across primary classes (EYFS to KS2), 2 days per week

• Deliver engaging, well structured lessons in line with teachers’ planning and the school curriculum

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities

• Maintain a positive, calm and focused learning environment

• Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policy

• Work closely with class teachers and support staff to ensure continuity for pupils

• Contribute to the wider life and ethos of this friendly, community focused school

What We Are Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong, recent experience teaching across primary year groups

• Proven behaviour management skills and the ability to hit the ground running

• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice

• Confident classroom management and clear, positive communication skills

• A flexible, proactive teacher who is committed to high standards and pupil outcomes
