Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent Opportunity Large 4-Form-Entry Primary School We are working with a large, well-established four-form-entry primary school in South Bristol seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
Deliver high-quality learning across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on experience) Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of the teacher Provide targeted group and 1:1 support to raise attainment Assist with planning and assessment under teacher guidance Contribute to a positive, engaging, and well-managed learning environment Work closely with teachers, support staff, SENCO, and senior leaders What We're Looking For HLTA status (or equivalent) Strong classroom management skills Experience across primary key stages (EYFS/KS1/KS2) A confident, proactive, and flexible approach Passion for supporting children's learning and development A team player who thrives in a collaborative, multi-form-entry setting What the School Offers A welcoming, well-resourced setting with excellent staff retention Supportive leadership and ongoing CPD opportunities Opportunities to grow within a large, forward-thinking primary school A chance to make a meaningful impact across year groups
