IT Tutor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide instruction in the use of computers for both professional and personal purposes, and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering IT training.

• Assess IT training requirements of an organization or individual and identify the skills needed for specific roles or tasks.
• Develop and design training programs, prepare IT equipment, lectures, demonstrations, and study aids.
• Supervise trainee development, assist trainees with difficulties, and prepare regular progress reports for management.
• Arrange work experience and instructional visits for trainees.
• Plan curriculum and rota of staff duties, updating or amending them as necessary in light of new developments.
• Advise on training programs and discuss progress or issues with staff and trainees.

• Relevant degree or proven relevant skills with experience.
• Experience in delivering IT tutoring or training
• Professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development are advantageous.
• Proven experience in IT training or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and hardware.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop tailored programs.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability in supervising and supporting trainees.
