Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team on a temporary to full-time basis to support a Pupil Referral Unit based in Ellesmere Port.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of each student. You will need to have the ability to manage challenging behaviour and experience working with SEMH.
Qualifications & Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Education
- Ability to manage extremely challenging behaviour
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create engaging lessons
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Enhanced DBS (On the Update Service)
- Challenging behaviour management
- SEN Experience
- IND-SEN
