The Role
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join the team in Hornchurch. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students' academic journeys across a variety of subjects. You will work closely with Class Teachers to maintain a focused learning environment, help manage classroom activities, and provide the extra guidance students need to succeed in their lessons.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom resources.

* Lead small group interventions to help students boost their progress in core subjects.

* Encourage student engagement and foster a positive attitude towards learning.

* Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and social development.

* Support the school’s inclusive ethos by ensuring all pupils feel valued and supported in the classroom.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have experience working with children or young people (educational, coaching, or youth work settings).

* Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence in students.

* Be proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a busy team.

* Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils.

* Have a flexible approach and a genuine passion for education.
