What We Are Looking ForOasis Academy Brislington is seeking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream SEND team. The successful candidate will be able to provide holistic support to the students they work with including learning support, emotional and well-being support and communication and interaction support. The Academy values a robust programme of Professional Development and offers opportunities for career development through roles such as Lead TA.
Roleand Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide holistic support to SEND learners, including:
- Learning support
- Emotional and well-being support
- Communication and interaction support
They will be supported by our SENDCo and Specialist Lead TA who lead the team to ensure SEND learners achieve parity with peers. KS4 outcomes for EHCP learners were above the national average in 2025.
