Teaching Assistant

Two Rivers School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting high‑quality teaching and learning, helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

• Good standard of education (5 × GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above) or equivalent
• Qualification/experience (e.g. substantial experience as a Teaching Assistant)
• Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
• Understanding of principles of child development and learning processes, and in particular, barriers to learning
• Ability to plan and implement effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving
• Natural communicator with the ability to relate to both pupils and adults
