Are you an experienced roofer with at least 10 years' experience in slate and tiled roofing who is starting to think about what comes next? • Full instructor training and teaching qualification support provided
• Delivering practical slate and tiled roofing training in a workshop environment
• Supporting and mentoring learners through hands on sessions
• Promoting safe, industry standard working practices
• Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for training delivery
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining a safe, organised, and professional learning environment

• Minimum 10 years' experience in slate and tiled roofing
• Strong hands on trade background
• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent industry experience
• Desire to step away from full time site work and extend career longevity
• Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing others
• Confident communicator with good organisational skills
• Willingness to complete teaching or instructor qualifications
• Committed to health and safety, safeguarding, and learner wellbeing
• Wants to move into a trainer/instructor role
