About the Role

You will lead a class where all learners have an ASD diagnosis and are supported through 1:1 or 2:1 staffing ratios. The role requires a teacher who is nurturing, structured, and experienced in delivering personalised learning to meet complex communication, sensory, and social needs.

  • Lead and manage a team of support staff (1:1 and 2:1 support) effectively
  • Create a structured, low-arousal, autism-friendly learning environment
  • Use evidence-based strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with SEND and statutory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with parents/carers and multi-agency professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching pupils with ASD and complex needs
