JOB TITLE - Experienced SEN LSA (KS1)

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Primary School in Bristol
, working with children in Key Stage 1. The school provides a nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, personalised learning, and collaborative teamwork. Staff benefit from ongoing support, clear communication, and opportunities for professional growth.

This is a full-time position, and depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent role.

• Location: Bristol
• Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (KS1)
• Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day
• Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Previous experience working as an LSA or Teaching Assistant supporting SEN pupils
  , ideally in KS1
• Strong understanding of SEN needs, such as Autism, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Developmental Delays
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (within the last year)
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
• A genuine passion for supporting young learners with additional needs

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced Child-Barred List DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last 2 years
