JOB TITLE - Qualified KS2 SEN Teacher
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Bristol
. The school is committed to providing inclusive, high-quality education for all pupils and offers a collaborative staff team, strong leadership, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
This is a full-time position, with the potential for the contract to be extended or made permanent depending on performance.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS- Location: Bristol
- Position: Qualified KS2 SEN Teacher
- Type: Full-time
- Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day
- Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - mandatory
- Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- Experience supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
, including Autism, SEMH, Speech & Language Needs, or Moderate Learning Difficulties - Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (within the last year)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A patient, positive, and student-focused approach to teaching
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced Child-Barred List DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last 2 years
