SEN Teaching Assistant

Special Needs Teaching Assistant 1:1 Support Primary School We are currently recruiting a highly experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school supporting a Year 1 pupil on a one-to-one basis. This is a rewarding role for a skilled Teaching Assistant who is confident providing targeted support both inside and outside the classroom.

The Role As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil Support the child within the mainstream classroom Deliver one-to-one interventions outside the classroom Help manage behaviour positively and consistently Support the pupils learning, engagement and academic progress We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has strong experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) Is confident working one-to-one with primary-aged pupils Has good behaviour management skills Is patient, consistent and nurturing Can work closely with the class teacher and SEN team Job Details
