About this roleTeaching Assistant (BG8) – a non‑class‑based role supporting pupils across the school. The successful candidate may be deployed flexibly to deliver targeted academic mentoring, provide pastoral and SEMH support, and cover whole classes when required.
Responsibilities- Deliver targeted academic mentoring and interventions across a range of pupils.
- Provide pastoral and SEMH support for identified pupils.
- Provide whole‑class cover when required.
- Strong experience supporting pupils academically and pastorally.
- Ability to adapt learning and deliver targeted interventions.
- Confidence in providing whole‑class cover when required.
- Calm, flexible and committed to inclusive practice.
