Location:

Pay: £13.85 - £15.38 per hour
Contract:
Full time, Fixed Term Contract starting in February 2026 until the end of the 25/26 academic year

anzuk education is partnered with a vibrant, two-form entry primary school in South Bristol, with a nursery attached, offering a friendly and supportive environment focused on personal and professional growth. The school is searching for an engaging and committed Early Years teaching Assistant.
About the Nursery:
* Caters to children aged 2-4, with separate playrooms for ages 2-3 and 3-4
* Features a quiet room for story and nap time, and a kitchen area with a snack bar
* Large, secure garden with grassy and decked areas, a mud kitchen, and vegetable plots
* Operates a 'free-flow' outdoor system to encourage year-round play

Responsibilities of the Early Years Teaching Assistant:
* Be a caring Key Person, offering personalised attention and support to each child in your care
* Observe and celebrate each child's unique growth, thoughtfully planning activities that meet their individual needs
* Lead fun and engaging activities both indoors and outdoors, from circle time and storytelling to sports and cooking
* Design activities that spark joy and curiosity, tailored to each child's developmental stage and interests
* Lend a helping hand wherever needed, supporting your team and wider school team with flexibility and a positive attitude
* Contribute to a warm, collaborative environment that adapts to meet the needs of the school community
* Uphold all school policies, with a focus on health, safety, and child protection to ensure a secure environment for all
Requirements of the Early Years Teaching Assistant:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years education
* Proven experience working with young children in an early years setting
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Knowledge and training in safeguarding and child protection (or willingness to complete necessary training)
* Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
* Please note:
