Are you a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a full time role in a lovely local primary school?
We are working closely with a friendly, welcoming primary school in the BS11 area that is seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support on a full time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and supporting young children in their learning journey.
Responsibilities- Support teaching and learning in EYFS in a nurturing, inclusive environment
- Work with groups and individual children to reinforce learning and promote progress
- Assist with preparing resources and supporting planned activities
- Help maintain a calm, purposeful classroom with positive behaviour management
- Support children with their personal development including social skills and independence
- Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure continuity for children
- Contribute positively to the warm, community focused ethos of this lovely school
- Experience working with children in an EYFS setting
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
- Patient, nurturing and able to build strong relationships with children and staff
- Good communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach
- Full time position in a supportive, close knit school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
