We're working with a welcoming primary school in Hanahm, Bristol to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant who can make a meaningful impact in inclusive and nurturing learning environments.
Responsibilities- Providing tailored support to a specific pupil with additional learning needs
- Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised learning plans
- Building a positive and encouraging relationship to help the pupil engage and progress
- Supporting emotional regulation and social development
- Assisting with classroom activities and transitions to promote inclusion
- A caring, empathetic, and patient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs
- Experience is an advantage, but not essential
- A supportive and collaborative school community
