Elementa Support Services is proud to partner with a respected secondary academy in Fishponds, Bristol, to recruit a dedicated Pastoral Support Worker for an 8-week contract starting in February. This is an opportunity for reservoir staff with a background in pastoral care and safeguarding ot make a positive impact within a knowledgeable environment.

About the Role

As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for students. You will provide essential pastoral care, contributing to students' emotional wellÂ being and behaviour management, ensuring they have the support needed to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting students on a day-to-day basis, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Implementing safeguarding procedures in line with school policies.
Building strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support student progress.
Monitoring and managing student behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
Assisting with home visits

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience supporting students in an educational setting, particularly in pastoral roles.
Background in safeguarding, student support, or behaviour management.

Reliable, proactive, and empathetic approach to student welfare.
Full UKdriving licence

Contract & recruitment information
