The Role
We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Art and Design Technology to join a creative and forward‑thinking school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons and helping young people develop confidence, creativity and practical skills.
You will play a key role in delivering a broad and ambitious curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, while contributing to a culture of high expectations, inclusivity and care. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring all pupils, whatever their background or starting point, are supported to thrive.
About YouYou will be someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Can deliver creative, engaging lessons in Art and Design Technology at KS3 and KS4
Consistently teaches high‑quality lessons and adapts teaching to meet a range of learning needs
Has experience supporting pupils from a variety of identified groups, including SEND, pupil premium, looked‑after children and high‑attaining students
Communicates clearly and confidently, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
Values enrichment opportunities and recognises the importance of learning beyond the classroom
Is reflective and motivated to develop their own practice while supporting the development of others
Demonstrates strong alignment with the Teachers’ Standards
