Position: Inclusion Support Worker Reach and Connect 1 hour

Inclusion Support Worker – Reach & Connect (1 hour per week)

We are looking for dynamic, committed and talented Inclusion Support Workers to develop and support the growth of an outstanding Different Education Provision for pupils within Bristol and the surrounding area. Children and young people with very complex needs sometimes require a different educational journey. The Briarwoods Reach & Connect service provides opportunities for children and young people to enjoy, engage, and learn outside of the classroom, while focusing on reintegration into the most appropriate provision.

  • Provide high quality pastoral support, ensuring high attendance, identifying behavioural issues, and finding strategies to intervene and monitor the progress of the young people who access the Reach & Connect service.
  • Ensure that the service and standards provided meet the requirements, objectives and policies of Briarwood School.

The successful candidates will work alongside Briarwood Reach & Connect staff to implement effective practice for pupils who may be disengaged from education to ensure they are provided for in the most effective ways. They will be creative in their thinking and strong communicators, ensuring that pupils' educational and holistic needs are met.

Role Details

Posts are 1 hour per week plus additional hours as required.
