Are you passionate about supporting young children’s speech, language, and communication development? Are you looking for a role that combines hands‑on early years experience with opportunities to progress within a mainstream school setting? We are recruiting an Early Years TA to join a friendly and supportive primary school team, working directly with children to help develop communication, confidence, and foundational learning skills.

This role is ideal for those interested in SEND, speech and language development, or future careers in education or therapy.

About the Setting

This mainstream primary school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for early years pupils. Staff work closely with teachers and specialist support teams to embed speech, language, and communication strategies into daily classroom practice. The school is committed to professional development, offering mentoring, training, and clear opportunities for career progression, making this an excellent first step for candidates aiming to specialise in SEND, speech and language support, or education.

Why

This Role is Ideal for You

  • Interest or experience in speech and language support or SEND.
  • Patient, caring, and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
  • Confident working in one‑to‑one or small group interventions.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Why Work Here
  • Competitive pay and structured working hours.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting speech, language, and communication in classrooms.
  • Training, mentoring, and clear opportunities for career progression.
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture.
