Teacher Active are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across South Gloucestershire. We are actively recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

As a cover supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting schools by ensuring continuity in students' learning when teachers are absent. You'll manage classrooms, maintain discipline, and ensure that students stay on task with pre-set work.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation; however, strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16
• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily
