Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part‑time (7 PA's) Consultant General Paediatricians to join our Weston‑based team are seeking enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic individuals who will enhance our established team of Consultant Paediatricians. You will take part in the general workload of the department and play a vital role in the delivery of healthcare for Children and Young People across North Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
Expertise in an area of special interest to complement those already available in the Department is welcome. Weston‑Super‑Mare and its surroundings are a wonderful place to live, with beautiful countryside, easy access to Bristol, and direct train services to London, Taunton and Exeter.
- Deliver the short‑stay assessment and ambulatory care service at the Seashore Centre weeks as named service consultant.
- Contribute to the General Paediatrics acute inpatient service in Bristol.
- Provide the trust‑wide Safeguarding consultant service based in Bristol.
- Run rapid access clinics and routine general paediatric clinics mainly in Weston‑Super‑Mare and sometimes in Bristol to bring care closer to patients’ homes.
