Overview

Pembroke Road Surgery is seeking a salaried GP to work four sessions per week within a friendly, well‑established practice in Clifton. The role offers a supportive environment with strong multidisciplinary and administrative support, enabling sustainable and rewarding GP working.

• Consult patients face‑to‑face and remotely, including routine care, on‑call and e‑consultations.
• Undertake home visits and manage results, correspondence, referrals, patient tasks and prescriptions.
• Provide clinical advice and contribute to patient safety and continuity of care.
• Record all consultations clearly in the clinical record in accordance with GMC guidance.

• MBBS (or equivalent) with full GMC registration and a licence to practise.
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List (England) and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Completion of GP specialty training (CCT or equivalent).
• Experience with EMIS / Systm One or similar clinical systems.
• Knowledge of NHS primary care systems, GMC standards, safeguarding, workload management and safe working practices.

• Experience teaching, mentoring or supervising colleagues.
• Special clinical interests (e.g., women’s health, minor surgery, dermatology, MSK).
• Experience working in a teaching, training, or research‑active practice.
• Knowledge of local services, referral pathways and community resources.

• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and colleagues.
• Ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written communication and accurate clinical records.
• Collaborative working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Evidence of continued professional development beyond minimum requirements.
