Main duties of

Applications are warmly invited for a fixed‑term fellowship attached to the Corneal service. The post is full‑time for a period of 12 months, ideally commencing from August 2026

The fellowship provides advanced sub‑speciality training in cornea and external eye disease. The post will support a team of three corneal Consultants. The successful candidate will complement the existing Specialist Registrar and will be expected to play an active role in the running of the corneal firm. He or she will also be expected to participate in the workload of the department should the need arise.

Applicants should be post‑CCT (or completed if from overseas) and ideally have pre‑existing corneal fellowship experience. Exceptional applicants in the final year of their local training scheme will be considered. The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the General Medical Council with a License to Practice.
