The role
This AJ100 architectural practice is known for delivering complex, high-quality projects across a range of sectors including healthcare, residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. Based in Bristol, the studio offers a collaborative working environment, strong technical leadership and long-term career progression.
They are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to play a key role in the technical delivery of projects. You will be responsible for leading the technical design process, coordinating consultants and ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard using Revit and BIM best practice.
This role would suit a technically strong professional who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring junior staff and taking ownership of technical packages.
Key responsibilities- Leading the technical delivery of projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Producing, coordinating and reviewing detailed technical drawings and Revit models
- Acting as a technical lead within project teams
- Coordinating consultant information and resolving technical issues
- Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
- Contributing to BIM standards, workflows and best practice
- Reviewing and managing technical packages through to construction stage
- Mentoring and supporting junior technologists and architects
- Liaising with contractors and responding to technical queries
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology
- Significant experience working in a UK architectural practice
- Proven experience delivering technically complex projects
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Experience across sectors such as healthcare or residential is advantageous
- Confident communicator with strong coordination skills
- Organised, detail-focused and proactive
