CAD​/3D Technician; Architecture​/Landscape Architecture

International Design Group (IDG) is a multidisciplinary design practice specialising in Master planning, Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Golf Course Architecture.

The practice primarily focusses on creative design solutions for residential, commercial and sports communities across the globe. We are looking for a motivated CAD/3D Technician to join our small dynamic team and contribute to the development of exciting new projects.

As a CAD/3D Technician at IDG, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate CAD drawings and 3D models for a variety of design projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and master planners to bring design concepts to life, ensuring that technical and creative elements are seamlessly integrated.

• Produce accurate and high-quality 2D CAD drawings (masterplans, hardscape/softscape plans, construction details etc.).
• Build 3D models and create visualizations in rendering software.
• Assist in the creation of design presentations and brochures, gather reference images to illustrate design concepts and materials palettes.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure the drawings and models align with the overall design intent and technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to project deadlines and ensure all design documents are properly organized.

• Proficiency in CAD software (the job involves using Micro Station and KeySCAPE but knowledge of AutoCAD is sufficient and a support will be provided to learn the software).
• Proficiency in Sketch Up / Rhino and other 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency in creating 3D renderings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (predominantly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Knowledge of design documentation standards and the ability to work with technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce precise, accurate drawings and models.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Design skills not required but creativity and aesthetic sense highly desirable.
