We are seeking an experienced Urban Designer to join our Design team in our Bristol Office. We welcome applications from Masterplanners, Layout Designers, Architects, and Urban Designers.

Collaborate with a proficient team of designers and architects, engaging in urban design and planning activities, feasibility studies, layout development, formulation of development briefs, and design strategies for residential, mixed‑use schemes and beyond.

• Hold a relevant Undergraduate Degree, Masters or Diploma in Urban Design / Architecture / Built Environment
• Work experience in private practice / consultancy or a commercial house building operation
• Experience of detailed design/RMA
• Outline application experience is welcomed but not essential
• A working knowledge of the planning system with an ability to interpret and adapt to specific local authority design guidance
• Knowledge of CAD software packages; experience in Vectorworks and/or Sketchup is an advantage
• Work independently with other consultants
• Confident liaising with clients, building relationships and understanding client requirements
• Strong project management skills and the ability to mentor and manage junior members of staff and report to Associates/Directors
• Excellent interpersonal and interdisciplinary skills
• Self‑motivated with an excellent eye for detail
