Description

We are seeking a highly organized, friendly and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our Dental team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is professional, efficient, and has a strong understanding of dental office operations, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient relations.

Front

Desk & Patient Coordination
  • Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the provider’s time.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing accurate information about services, procedures, and billing.
Insurance & Billing
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
  • Process patient payments and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Explain treatment costs, insurance coverage, and financing options to patients.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain organized digital and paper records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Work closely with dental providers and clinical staff to optimize workflow and patient experience.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous office improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in dental administration are a plus.

Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure positive patient interactions.

Detail‑Oriented:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.

MS Office experience preferred.
