We’re looking for a Contemporary Science Manager to create and deliver an exciting programme of science engagement that inspires adults and young people across the Northeast.
Responsibilities- Design imaginative events around cutting‑edge science, collaborating with researchers, industry partners, creatives and communities to bring contemporary science stories to life.
- Shape ideas into delivered events, manage the full programme and find fresh ways to engage audiences.
- A degree (or equivalent) in a science subject.
- Experience developing or delivering engaging science content or programmes for a range of audiences.
- Confidence communicating complex ideas clearly to non‑specialist audiences, verbally and in writing.
- Collaborative team player with experience contributing to projects or events.
- Interest in evaluation and using feedback to improve future activity.
