Title & Description Bricks Public Art Producer Job Opportunity 2026The Public Art Producer will work under the Head of Creative Infrastructure & Public Art, delivering high-quality public art projects while supporting the development of creative infrastructure across Bristol. The role combines strategic planning, project management, and partnership development, offering opportunities to engage with artists, local communities, developers, and authorities.
Role Overview- Contract: 12-month fixed-term PAYE, potential extension
- Hours: 22.5 per week (3 days/week), flexible
- Responsible to: Head of Creative Infrastructure & Public Art
- Responsible for: Occasional freelance contractors
- Lead the design and delivery of public art projects across Bristol and the West of England
- Produce public art plans, strategies, and artist briefs
- Manage artist appointments, contracts, budgets, timelines, and project communications
- Support detailed design, fabrication, and installation of artworks
- Engage and maintain relationships with clients, artists, communities, and local authorities
- Assist in the setup and management of creative spaces and infrastructure projects
- Contribute to business development, securing new project commissions
- Support finance, budgeting, and forecasting for public art initiatives
- Document and evaluate project impact, maintaining organisational tools and processes

- Proven record in business development, strategic planning, and team/project management
- Senior management or leadership experience preferred
