Hello Charlie is a design-led motion graphics company with a team of talented, creative individuals, and we’re looking for a Producer to join us on a maternity cover contract. We are looking for an experienced individual that can bring vibrancy and energy to the role all whilst being a self-starter, highly organised and enjoys a challenge.

You will be at the heart of the Bristol team, guiding and supporting them through day-to-day work while keeping budgets on track, sourcing freelancers, and building high-performing teams. You’ll manage tight deadlines and schedules, oversee evolving projects, and respond effectively to client feedback. Please note motion graphics project management is preferable, however we would consider similar industry experience.

Reporting to Head of Production

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee scheduling and management of staff and freelancers across multiple projects.
  • Manage all administrative and operational paperwork associated with each project, including client contracts, freelance contracts, purchase orders, budgeting, invoicing, and production scheduling.
  • Manage all pitch budgets and staffing for pitches, ensuring accurate costings and resourcing.
  • Act as a client-facing lead, maintaining strong client relationships throughout the pitch and production process and serving as the main point of contact.
  • Ensure all freelancers and third-party companies are issued purchase orders upon job confirmation.
  • Manage freelancer onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, paperwork, and system access.
  • Oversee all shoots, including budgets, facilities, crew, equipment, risk assessments, insurance, call sheets, petty cash, reconciliations, and final invoicing.
  • Maintain constant communication with Accounts (based in Bristol) regarding invoices to and from HC, final figures, budgets, and purchase orders.
  • Use project management software from quote stage through to job completion to track schedules, budgets, deliverables, and approvals.
  • Manage and track project deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and assets are delivered to spec.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of technical specifications and delivery requirements for broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms.
  • Perform quality control on files prior to client delivery, including spelling, grammar, versioning, and confirmation that all amendments have been correctly implemented.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, streamline workflows, and ensure overall quality control of final assets.

  • Confident working with tight deadlines and fast-paced production environments.
EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in motion graphics or graphics production companies.
  • Proven experience managing motion graphics projects from pitch through delivery.
  • Experience delivering content for streaming platforms and broadcasters, with a solid understanding of technical delivery specifications.
  • Experience managing freelancers, vendors, and external production partners.
  • Strong familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and project management tools.
  • Experience producing screen graphics for live events, broadcast, and OOH formats would be an advantage.
