What will be my Core Responsibilities?

Contribute to the success of a variety of projects ranging in value from £50k to £13.5m across the South West. We're looking for a Site Manager who is comfortable managing a range of refurb and fit out projects, ensuring the safe and smooth daily operation of the site.

* Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

* Collaborate closely with architects, subcontractors, and the wider project team to manage any challenges that arise during construction.

* Implement rigorous quality control and safety measures, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Help the team troubleshoot issues and challenges with construction to ensure the project continues to keep on track and meet key deadlines.

* Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager, highlighting any risks and mitigation strategies.

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction, ideally with a carpentry background.

* Strong understanding of the complexities and nuances involved within construction.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality.

* A background in carpentry is highly desirable and a relevant trade qualification.

* Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS) are highly desirable.
