Are you an Estimator with a passion for high-quality interiors and design-led construction? Do you want the opportunity to join a business at the very start of a new division and play a key role in shaping how it operates and grows?

I’m working with a well-established regional contractor that is launching a new Bristol-based business unit to focus exclusively on high-end design & build fit out projects. With strong backing from the wider business and a clear growth strategy in place, they are now looking to appoint an Estimator to support the development and success of this new venture.

This is a rare opportunity to get in early, influence processes, and become a key commercial voice within a design-led environment.

As Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive, accurate tenders for high-end design & build fit out projects, working closely with pre-construction, design, and delivery teams.

You’ll be involved early in the project lifecycle, helping shape solutions, manage risk, and contribute to winning work in a quality-driven, relationship-focused market.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing cost plans and tenders for high-end D&B fit out projects
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and design information
• Engaging with the supply chain to obtain competitive subcontractor pricing
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Supporting bid strategy and tender presentations
• Working closely with design, commercial, and delivery teams
• Contributing to the development of estimating processes for the new business unit
• Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction or fit out
• Strong background in design & build and/or high-end fit out projects
• Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Experience with commercial interiors, CAT A / CAT B, or bespoke fit out projects (desirable)
