Quantity Surveyor

A growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor is expanding its commercial team following continued project wins and the opening of a brand-new regional office. All levels of Quantity Surveyor are considered.

You will be responsible for the commercial management of groundworks and civils projects from pre‑construction through to final account, working closely with experienced operational and commercial teams.

• Residential developments (100–500+ units)
• Large groundworks and infrastructure packages
• Project values typically £5m‑£30m+

• Cost control, reporting and forecasting
• Measurement, valuations and variations
• Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
• Preparing client applications and final accounts
• Working closely with site teams to protect margins

(Level of responsibility will reflect experience.)

• Experience with in groundworks, civils or infrastructure
• Background as an Assistant, Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills
• Confident working with drawings, budgets and subcontractors
