ROLE:
Asbestos Consultant – Excellent Salary | Flexibility | Career Progression

HOURS:

40 hours per week.

LOCATION:

Taunton, Bridgwater, Highbridge.

We’re looking for an Asbestos Consultant who will carry out specialist asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of property types.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties in accordance with HSG
    264 and company procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties including collecting site data, transport of asbestos samples to UKAS‑accredited laboratories approved by the company, and completing asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
  • Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG
    248 and our UKAS‑accredited procedures.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
  • Liaise with the Asbestos Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor as and when required, and liaise with clients where necessary.
  • Set a personal example and generally promote the company in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications
  • BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
  • BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
  • In‑depth knowledge of HSG
    264 and HSG
    248.
  • Strong knowledge of site analytical and removal practices.
  • Familiarity with TEAMS useful but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
