Graduate Building Surveyor Program

Kickstart your Building Surveying career with our comprehensive two‑year program. Designed specifically for graduates, the program provides the support and experience needed to navigate the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) via the Building Surveying pathway. As part of our Real Estate department, you’ll work within building surveying teams, gaining hands‑on experience across dilapidations, technical due diligence, development monitoring, and project management.

Opportunities for international work across Europe may also arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct building inspections and surveys.
  • Prepare detailed reports on building condition and defects.
  • Assist with the preparation of cost estimates.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support project teams in the delivery of building projects.

Qualifications
  • A RICS‑accredited degree or Masters conversion course in Building Surveying (achieved or on track for a 2:1 minimum).
  • Understanding of technical aspects of building surveying and genuine interest in the real estate and built environment.

Other Requirements

In some regional roles, the ability to drive may be necessary due to the location of client offices.

To be considered for Defence arena roles, you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance. This process will begin after you accept an offer and confirm your willingness to undergo the checks.
